April Leadership Lunch at Galaxy Theatres! Cyber Threats: Response and Mitigating Strategies

We had an incredible day of growth, inspiration, and community at our April Leadership Lunch hosted by Galaxy Theatres Grandscape! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed guest speaker, Paul Bustos, CFE, CRMA, for his presentation on "Cyber Threats:  Response and Mitigating Strategies.

We also want to extend our warmest congratulations to the outstanding individuals who were recognized during the event: DATCU Credit Union Student of the Month Alexander Hale, 3rd grade student at Memorial Elementary School.  Your dedication and hard work continue to inspire us. Teacher of the Month, Sarah Ezell, 3rd grade teacher at Memorial Elementary School Your commitment to education is truly remarkable. Platinum Auto Glass Exceptional Student of the Month: Aarush Patil, first grade student at Memorial Elementary Your exceptional achievements set the standard high.

And, as always, we had some exciting NEWS.  Kellie D’Andrea has joined our Chamber as the President.  She brings with her strategy, tactics and a great way for you to build your business!

What is Ahead!

As we look ahead, we invite all our members and community to mark your calendars for Chamber events happening in May.  Begin the month at Hard 8 BBQ breakfast on Wednesday May 1st.  7:45-9:00a.m. We will be honoring our fire and police.  There will be an update on two very important elections occurring in May as well as the opportunity to network with chamber members. Bring a door prize and you will have microphone time to introduce your company.  Our Commerce connects series is a great opportunity to do one hour of intense networking.  8:00-9:00.  Join in on Wednesday May 8th and/or Wednesday May 22nd at Texas — Thirsty Lion Gastropub.  Thursday May 16th is our Leadership Lunch.  Mark your calendar and check back for details.  Saturday May 25th, the chamber is hosting Dueling Pianos on the Grandscape Lawn!  We will have special VIP seating for this event.  Upfront, close to stage.  Every VIP attendee will receive a goody bag with a Grandscape gift card, drink ticket and more surprises.  Seating is VERY limited, so purchase a table or a ticket to enjoy a great experience.  The tickets and tables will sell out quickly.
