January Leadership Lunch at Andretti's!
January's Leadership Lunch was definitely one for the books! Our friends at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games rolled out the red carpet and helped set the stage for a truly great event. We enjoyed a full house for our first Leadership Lunch of the New Year!
Congratulations to Griffin Middle School's DATCU teacher and student of the month and to the Platinum Auto Glass Exceptional Student of the month. Thank you to our great sponsors for celebrating our schools!
The Colony Chamber of Commerce was excited to welcome Rochelle Schutte from Reflections Life Center as guest speaker! Schutte gave us great tips and tricks to making your mental health a priority in 2023. From finding what is "energy givers" and "energy takers" in your everyday schedule to learning to make self-care a priority, we all had the foundation laid to make 2023 a successful year!
We kicked off a new city highlight, "Then and Now", with the help of Megan Charters from The Colony Public Library! She presented a fun look back at the history and growth of the library and how the city started off. We are looking forward to learning more about the history of The Colony!
Finally, a big Congratulations is in order for Scheels our January Business of The Month presented by Grandscape! Scheels works constantly to be a positive force within the community and are great assets to the Chamber!
