The Grand Duck Derby and The Taste of The Colony!

What an absolute amazing day for The Colony Chamber of Commerce. Two great events, one great location. The Grand Duck Derby set sail to 35,000 rubber ducks racing around the Grandscape canals to give away $12,000 in cash prizes! On top of the exciting race there were community performances, vendor and non-profit booths and a fun Scheels Kid Zone area! With an attendance of nearly 5000 people, it was definitely a great day of fun for the community! We are already counting down to next year's event!

Our top Grand Prize Winner for the day went to Lee Weddall- a teacher at The Colony High School!

The Taste of The Colony may have been shut down early due to storms but it was definitely serving up some great eats and treats from our local restaurants! We are dreaming of what will be served up next year!
